Inauguration of nine development projects worth of 814 million AFNs by the Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development in Badakhshan province

H.E Mujib Rahman Karimi the Minister of MRRD inaugurated nine transportation projects in Badakhshan during his trip to this province
At the ceremony which held on this occasion H.E Karimi said:
“From nine transportation projects which will be   handed over today, 45 thousand villagers will be benefited and will create 40 thousand lobar days “
MRRD’s Minister added that these projects include the construction of 21 Kilometers road and 10 meters bridge in Manjanai village and 14 kilometers other road in Aab balla village of Draim district.
Construction of 15 km of road in the village of Novichi Valley and 140 m of Concrete Iron Bridge in Nayeb village of Kashim district, 6 km of asphalt road and 21 m of Gadri bridge in Feyzabad, construction of44 m of iron Concrete bridge and 2.5 km of connecting road in Tashkan district, Construction of 20 kilometers of border road from Brogheel to Pamir khurd and 39, 5 Km road in Wakhan .
According to Mr. Karimi, during current year, this ministry has been able to implement 25 projects worth of 640 million AFNs in Water supply, transportation, and Irrigation and LITACA  sectors .during the implementation of these projects 126 thousand days have been created and 151 thousand villagers will be benefited.
The Minister of MRRD said that the implementation  work of 157 other projects worth of 983 million AFNsl are ongoing in water supply , Irrigation , economic ,transportation and energy sectors in Badakhshan province and at a cost of 800 million AFNs ,142 new projects are planned that more than 200 thousand will be benefited ,
It is worth to be stated that LITACA program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development implements in the border regions between Afghanistan and Tajikistan countries.
