116 Various Development Projects Launched in Maidan Wardak Province

The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development has launched 116 various development projects in the Jaghto district of Maidan Wardak province, with an estimated cost of approximately 203 million Afghanis. These projects were officially launched today during a ceremony led by the Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Younus Akhundzada, and his accompanying delegation.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Minister Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Younus Akhundzada, his delegation, the deputy Governor of Maidan Wardak province Hafiz Sayed Rahman, deputy head of provincial Ulema Council Mavlawi Abid Agha, the Provincial Director of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, the district governor of Jaghto, religious scholars, elders, and youth participated.

These projects encompass the construction of rural roads, bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and canals.

During the implementation of these projects, hundreds of workers will be employed, and upon completion, the projects are expected to resolve many of the existing issues faced by the residents of the mentioned district.
