Signing contract of 57 development projects worth of more than 413 millions AFN for 17 provinces

H.E Mujib Rahman Karimi the minister of MRRD ,signed the contract for implementation of 57 development projects worth of 413 million AFN with social development councils.
On the conference which was held on this occasion, Mr Karimi  said that , the mentioned projects will be implemented in 17 provinces including: Badakhshan, Badghiz, Baghllan, Balkh, Ghazni,Kabul, Kandahar. Khust, Kuner, Kunduz   Logar. Pakita,Panjshear,Parwan , Samangan, Sar e Pul and Takhar provinces.and during  their implementation 102 thousand working days will be created.
According to the Minister of MRRD these projects include the construction of 8 irrigation Canals ,17 protective walls , 11 gabion walls,  construction of  one road , five Karez ,four bridge  construction projects , one protective wall , four road construction projects, one solar pumps project, construction of four bolder walls  and one water reservoir, that by implementation of these projects 132 thousand villagers will be benefited.
Of those projects, 42 projects will be funded  from the National budget , 14 projects from the international fund for the agriculture development and one project will be funded by Indian government.
It is worth to be stated that  the mentioned projects will be organized by the Regional Programs Coordination Office of MRRD and will be implemented through the social development councils.
