Implementation of three development projects costing 29 million AFN in Takhar province

Implementation of three development projects worth 29 million Afghanis was started by the Regional Programs Coordination Office of Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) in a ceremony attended by Baryali Hilali, head of the mentioned program in Kendal village of Farkhar district of Takhar province.
These projects include the construction of water canals, water converts, super passages, and protective walls, which will benefit 17,000 villagers.
It is worth mentioning that with the implementation of the mentioned projects, a large part of the agricultural lands and gardens of the local people, while being covered by irrigation, will be protected from the of floods risks and 14065 working days will be also created for the workers.
