Four water supply networks in Kabul province have been handed over for use by the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development

The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development has completed the construction of four water supply networks with the financial assistance of the UNICEF office at a cost of 6,651,422 Afghanis. These networks are located in the health clinics of Istalaf, Kalkan, Dah E Sabz, and Farza districts of Kabul province. Today, during a meeting, they were officially handed over for use by Haji Maulvi Sharafuddin Muslim, the deputy minister of planning and policy at the ministry.

These networks include the digging of four wells at depths of 130, 70, 65, and 110 meters and the construction of two steel-concrete reservoirs for clean water.

With the completion of these networks, 830 families in the aforementioned districts now have access to clean drinking water.

The opening meeting of these networks was attended by Haji Mullah Aminullah Obaid, the Governor of Kabul province, Maulvi Muhammad Yunus Hanafi, the head of rural rehabilitation and development of this province, district governors, scholars, residents of the mentioned districts, and young people.
