Work progress of 1.549 kilometers irrigation canal construction project costing 11 million AFN in Kabul province

Implementation of 1,549 meters irrigation canal construction project worth 11 million AFN funded by IFAD, is ongoing by the Regional Programs Coordination Office of MRRRD in Tarakheal village located in Dah sabz district of Kabul Province.

This canal has six ports, two of which have been constructed so far, and work on the other part is going on.

During the implementation of the mentioned project, 5335 working days have been created and by its accomplishment 400 hectares of the agricultural lands and grapes gardens will be regularly irrigated and more than 35000 families will be benefited.
