About Ru-WatSIP/MRRD:

The national WASH policy 2010 has kept the implementation strategy for hygiene and sanitation very flexible which means the implementation approach could be chosen based on its success stories and good result in the past in the country. One of the new approaches which have proven to be successful in achieving the indicators is the Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS). RuWatSIP based on the success stories and witnesses on the ground has decided to use this approach as a tool for implementation of hygiene and sanitation program. The CLTS facilitator is the grass root level implementer and liaising person with the villagers who can accomplish and achieve the target or bring failures to the project.

Job Description:

Job Description/responsibilities/tasks:

At all time drive in a safe and courteous manner observing speed limits.
Cooperate with guards on security checks when entering an MRRD and RRD compounds.
Ensure the good condition of vehicle and conduct vehicle check on a daily basis.
Ensure that all passengers follow WatSIP vehicle policy and procedures-seat belts on, doors locked windows up.
Ensure only WatSIP/staff and authorized visitors travel in vehicle
Ensure timely submission of required paperwork
Ensure maintenance of fuel level for security reasons vehicle must be refuelled at end of day
Ensure the safety of WatSIP vehicles outside the MRRD compound – vehicles are never to be left unattended.
Ensure the Security of tool kits and First Aid Kits issued daily.
Check oil level daily.
Check the water level in the radiator daily.
Check the tire pressure on all 5 tires weekly.
Check the water level in window washing dispenser daily.
Check the heating/air conditioning system weekly.
Clean the vehicle inside and out daily.
Help all passengers carry any items to and from the vehicles.
Any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor or Senior Staff Management

Job Requirements:

Required Education/Degrees/Skills/Experience:

Baccalaureate degree from school /educational institute or professional institute.
At least two years previous experience at an organization or NGO.
Languages required Dari, Pashto and English would consider highly.
Proven excellent in performance of responsibilities.
Organizing ability and willingness to work
Flexibility in understanding and accepting any kind of assignment.
Capable of working in a multi-national /cultural environment.
Reliable, honest and able to work under pressure.
Driving license is highly required.

Responsible to:

Will be responsible to technical staff of WatSIP whom assigned by WatSIP to RRD Kabul (head of set) and Admin Section of WatSIP
