The Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development met with the residents of Wakhan District of Badakhshan province

Acting Minister of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, Alhaj Mullah Muhammad Yunus Akhundzada, during his working trip to Wakhan district of Badakhshan province, visited the residents of Wakhan district and the Qarghis tribe of Bazai Ganbad area.

During the visit, the honorable Minister listened to the problems and suggestions of the residents of the said area and stated that, the Islamic Emirate pays special attention to all the villages of the country, especially the deprived area and areas far from facilities.

This area is one of the remote and undeveloped areas of Pamir, whose inhabitants are Qarghis and they speak the Qirmizi language. They don’t have access to Basic services such as schools, Clinic, Roads and other facilities.

The residents of these areas expressed their happiness at the arrival of the acting Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, Alhaj Mullah Muhammad Yunus Akhundzada and said, that in the past 40 years, non of government officials has come to solve the problems of the people in the Pamir of Wakhan District, your arrival here creates the hope of positive changes in development. So this trip gives us hope, that you are paying attention to the remote areas of the country.
