The implementation work of 424 development projects is on progress in Bamyan province

H.E Mujib Rahman Karimi the Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development met in his office with Tahir Zahir the governor of Bamyan province.
In this meeting the governor of Bamyan praised the activities of Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development and said that the ministry's projects have made a positive difference in the lives of Bamyan people.
While addressing the problems of the residents of Bamyan, he outlined the implementation of water supply projects, starting of Citizen’s Charter program in other districts of the province and construction of bridges as the main requests of the Bamyan’s residents.
In return H.E Mujib Rahman said that currently 424 development projects worth of $ 12 million are ongoing in Bamyan province. The Citizen’s Charter program is also being implemented in the districts of Versa and Punjab districts of Bamyan; and will cover all other districts of this province.
H.E Karimi also added that the Women Economic Empowerment Rural Development Program which provides for rural women home based work, has covered 206 villages of five district of Bamyan province. It is worth to be stated that the construction work of Shahidan village’s water supply network worth of 45 million AFNs has been started too. Which is nine kilometers long and will provide drinking water for 2000 families.
