Work progress of an irrigation Kareaz construction project worth 5 million Afghanis in Paktia

With the total cost of five million AFN, construction of an irrigation Kareaz project is under way by the Regional Programs of The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development in Jigan village located in provincial center of Paktia province.

During the implementation of this project, 2389 working days have been created and after the completion of 1400 locals will be benefited.

It is worth mentioning that with the construction of the mentioned kareaz, a large part of agricultural lands will be covered by irrigation and the water loss will be also prevented.
