Work progress of an irrigation canal construction project in Nangarhar province

Construction of an irrigation canal has been 40 % completed by the Regional Programs Coordination Office of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development in Kan Dikan village located in Rudat district of Nangarhar province.
During the implementation of this project which includes; digging karez wells and constructing of 1,755 km of water canals, 4486 working days has been created for workers.
It is worth mentioning that with the construction of the mentioned canal, hundreds hectares of the agricultural land will be covered by regular irrigation and 1960 locals will benefit
