Work progress of 400 meters irrigation canal construction project costing 1.9 million AFN in Khust province

Construction of 400 meters irrigation canal worth 1.9 million AFN is under process through the Citizens’ Charter National Priority Program of MRRD in Zadran village located in Maton district of Khost province.

During the implementation of the mentioned project 1350 working days have been created for the skilled and unskilled local workers and by its accomplishment 380 hectares of the agricultural lands will be irrigated.

It’s worth mentioning that 72 families will be benefited from the flood risks.
