Acting Minister of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development met with the Deputy Executive Director of the World Food Program

The Acting Minister of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development Alhaj Mullah Muhammad Yunus Akhundzada met today Thursday in his office with, Mr. Carl Skau, Deputy Executive Director of the World Food Program, the head of  World Food Organization in Afghanistan, Ms. Hsiao-Wei Lee, and the a complying delegation.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Deputy Executive Director of the World Food Program in Afghanistan, Mr. Carl Skau, informed and discussed the Acting Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development about the activities and work plans of (WFP) and shared their problems with the Honorable Minister.

After that, the Honorable Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development Alhaj Mullah Muhammad Yunus Akhundzada said welcoming the guests, and appreciate the efforts of the International Food Program in the field of humanitarian aids to Afghans are worthy of praise. Mr. Minister also said to use full transparency in the distribution of aid.

And he added during his speech that the Islamic Emirate has it procedure for coordinating the activities of internal and external institutions and organizations, which ensured all kinds of cooperation according to this procedure.

In the end, there was emphasis on more coordination between the two sides.
