Work progress of an irrigation canal construction project in Badakhshan province

At a total cost of two million AFNs, the construction work of one irrigation canal project has been 80 percent completed through the Citizen’s Charter National Priority Program of Rural Rehabilitation and Development Ministry (MRRD) by development social council of (CDC) Archi kham of shahr buzurg Badakhshan province.
This canal is 3 kilometers long and for the parts which are treated by risks, protective walls m Tarnab and small bridge will be constructed. During the implementation of the mentioned project, 1840 lobar days have been created for technical and nontechnical workers and after its accomplishment, 80 hectares of the agricultural lands of 57 families will be regularly irrigated.
