Completion and Inauguration of Eight Water Supply Networks in Faryab Province
The construction of eight water supply networks in the districts of Dawlatabad, Shirin Tagab, Garziwan, and Kohistan of Faryab Province, worth more than 39 million Afghanis, has been completed through the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development. The projects were officially inaugurated in a ceremony by Honorable Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Younus Akhundzada, Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, along with his accompanying delegation.
The ceremony was attended by Honorable Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Younus Akhundzada, Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, his delegation, Alhaj Mawlawi Alawuddin Haqparast, Head of Rural Rehabilitation and Development for Faryab Province, a number of other officials, respected scholars, elders, and youth.
In his valuable speech, Honorable Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Younus Akhundzada said:
“We strive, with the resources at our disposal, to implement and execute development projects according to the needs and necessities of our compatriots in the remote areas of the country.”
With the completion of these networks, approximately 1,896 families in the mentioned districts have gained access to safe drinking water.
