Handing over of a water supply network construction project costing 14.6 million AFN in Ghor province

Construction of a water supply network worth more than 14.6 million Afghanis has been recently completed and handed over by the National Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) in Ahangaran Olia and Suflla e Firuzkuh villages , the provincial center of Ghor province.

This network has three safe water reservoirs with a capacity of 190 cubic meters, 7 pressure breakers, a protective wall of springs, 34,625 km of pipes, 455 water taps and meters with its accessories.

. It is worth mentioning that during the implementation of the mentioned project, 15, 788 working days were created and after its completion, 900 families, two schools and a religious sciences school have gotten access to safe drinking water.
