Handing over of a solar _powered water supply network in Paktika province

With the total cost of 5,2 million AFN , a solar powered water supply network has been recently completed and handed over through the Rural Water Supply  and Sanitation Program of MRRD in the Bokhan kheal village of Yusufkheal district of Paktika province.

This project included the digging of a deep water well with the length of 103 meters ,construction of a water reservoir with a capacity of 50 cubic meter, extension of a 5,671 meter long pipes, one surrounding for solar panels,110 water meters with all appliances and installation of 112 taps .

During the implementation of the mentioned project 240 working days were created and by it's construction 313 families and 295 students have gotten access to clean drinking water.
