The construction of (14) water supply networks through the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development in the provinces of Jowzjan and Sar-e-Pul has been launched
The construction work of (14) water supply networks in the districts of Aqcha, Faizabad, Khanqa, Khwaja Du Koh, Mardyan, Mangjik, and Qush Tepe in Jowzjan province, and the districts of Sanchark, Sazma Qala, and Gowsfandi in Sar-e-Pul province, worth more than (2) million and (224) thousand US dollars, was officially launched today by the Honorable Haji Mullah Mohammad Yunus Akhundzada, Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, along with his accompanying
delegation.
At the ceremony held for this occasion, the Honorable Haji Mullah Mohammad Yunus Akhundzada, Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, the Honorable Haji Gul Haidar Shafaq, Governor of Jowzjan, the Honorable Moulavi Sharafuddin Muslim, Deputy Minister for Planning and Policy, along with their delegations, the heads of Rural Rehabilitation and Development in Jowzjan and Sar-e-Pul provinces, several other officials, scholars, respected elders, and youth participated.
In his valuable speech at the ceremony, the Honorable Haji Mullah Mohammad Yunus Akhundzada stated:
"We are making efforts to implement and execute development projects in the remote areas of the country with the available resources, based on the needs and requirements of our fellow citizens."
These networks include the drilling of (13) wells, the installation of (384) water taps, and the installation of (798) solar panels. Upon completion of these networks, approximately (5,629) families in the mentioned districts of Jowzjan and Sar-e-Pul provinces will gain access to clean drinking water.
