Clean drinking water provided for 165 families in Ghor province
with the total cost of 2,330,000 AFN funded through the state budget of Afghanistan,a solar-powered water supply network has been recently constructed and handed over by the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Program of MRRD in Deh Pitab Sayed Alam village located in Lal wa Sarjangal district of Ghor province.
The project included the digging of one well, construction of a water reservoir and a protective wall for solar panels, extension of a 2,900-meter long pipes network, installation of 10 solar panels,42 taps and other essential tools.
it is worth stating that the mentioned project created 2,200 working days and by it's completion around 165 families gained access to safe drinking water.
