(451) development projects in Maidan Wardag province have been handed over for use by the Ministry of Rural rehabilitation and Development

From the Ministry of Rural rehabilitation and Development and with the financial assistance of the UNOPS office, in different villages of the central Maidan Shaher, Jalrez and the first part of Behsudo districts of Maidan Wardag province and Social Support and Livelihood Program has completed 451 different development projects at a cost of more than (323) million Afghanis were handed over for use today during a meeting from the Acting Minister of the said Ministry, Alhaj Mullah Muhammad Yunus Akhundzada.

In these projects, cleaning of canals with length of (1346022) meters, graveling of rural roads with a length of (385202) meters, repair of retaining walls with a length of (3381) meters, cleaning of (40) reservoirs for irrigating lands, digging of (1985) water reservoirs in the foothills, construction of (151) culverts, repair of a bridge with a length of (7.5) meters and repair of (4) drinking water wells.

During the implementation of these projects (15804) workers were provided with work.

With the completion of these projects, the problems of the residents of the center and the mentioned districts have been solved.
