Three Projects in Helmand's Kajaki District Launched

The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development officially launched the implementation of three projects in Kajaki District, Helmand Province, with a total cost of 76 million Afghanis. These projects include:
- An 8-kilometer canal for irrigation in Abghol village,
- A 30-kilometer road in Shiri,
- An 8.8-kilometer gravel road in Safid Hesar.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Acting Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, Haji Mullah Mohammad Younus Akhundzada, along with his delegation, the Helmand Provincial Police Commander, Haji Mullah Aminullah Zubair, the Director of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, Mullah Mahmood Sani, officials from Kajaki District, as well as local scholars, elders, and youth.
In his speech at the ceremony, Acting Minister Haji Mullah Mohammad Younus Akhundzada expressed the Ministry's commitment to balanced development and emphasized that, based on available resources, the implementation of these projects continues in the remote areas of the country. He also urged the local residents to carefully monitor the progress of these projects to ensure they benefit from them.
During the implementation of these projects, hundreds of workers will be employed, and upon completion, the issues of the local population in these areas will be significantly addressed.
It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development plans to provide its services in all districts of Helmand province, especially in those districts that require more work.
