Singing contract for implementation of 18 development project worth 162 million AFN in Kunduz province

With the total cost of 162 million AFN, the contract for implementation of 18 development projects consist of water supply construction projects, protective walls and irrigation water intakes, was singed by the head Department of Kunduz Rural Rehabilitation and Development and the related social development council.

The mentioned development projects will be implemented by the National Water Supply and Sanitation Program and Regional Programs Coordination Office of Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) in Dasht- e- Archi, Aliabad, Aqtash , Khanabad and Chahar Darah districts of Kunduz province .

It is worth mentioning that with the implementation of the mentioned projects, 5620 families will gain access to safe drinking water, 2690 houses and 76 thousand hectares of land will be protected from the threats of floods.
