MRRD signs contract for 77 development projects in 19 provinces of the country

Worth of 488 million AFNs, the contract for 77 development projects was singed between H.E Mujib Rahman Karimi the Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, social development councils and some private companies.
At the ceremony which was held on this occasion, H.E Mujib Rahman Karimi said:
“These projects which will be signed today include:
The construction of Kareaz projects, protective walls (gabion and bolder walls, water intakes and construction of the rural roads”
MRRD’s Minister added that the total cost of the mentioned projects is 488 million AFNs, including 51 projects funded through the National budget and 25 projects by Italy and one project by Qazaqistan country. These projects  will be implemented in 19 provinces of the country (Badghiz , Balkh , Farah, Samangan, Paktia , Patika , Nooristan, Kunar , Laghman, Nangarhar , Khust , Logar, Kapisa and Zabul ) Their implementation process  will begin  from Kabul, Paktia, Paktika, Wardak and Kandahar provinces.
It worth to be stated that during the implementation of the mentioned projects, 1555,223 lobar days will be created and 191.784 villagers will be benefited.
