The honorable Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development has inaugurated the construction work of a gravel road over 29 kilometers long in Daikundi Province

The construction of a gravel road more than 29 kilometers in length, along with the building of two large bridges measuring 28 and 22 meters in the Waghanir Valley of Pato District in Daikundi Province—valued at more than 76 million Afghanis—was officially launched during a ceremony by the Honorable Al-Haj Mullah Mohammad Yunus Akhundzada.

The ceremony was attended by the Honorable Al-Haj Mullah Mohammad Yunus Akhundzada, Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, along with his accompanying delegation; Mawlawi Najibullah Rafi, Governor of Daikundi; the Chief of Police; the Director of Intelligence; Mawlawi Mohammad Idris Shariat, Head of Rural Rehabilitation and Development of the province; the District Governor of Pato; several other officials; respected scholars; community elders; and youth.

During the construction of this road, employment opportunities will be provided for hundreds of workers, and upon its completion, the transportation problems of the residents of the mentioned district will be resolved.
