Handing over of an irrigation Canal construction project in Kandahar

With the total cost of 1,5 million AFN, the construction work of an irrigation Canal has been recently completed and handed over through the Citizens' Charter National priority program of MRRD in Muhammad zai village in Panjwahee district of Kandahar province.

This Canal  which is 1900 meters long , has 16 rights and during it's construction 1050 working days were created for technical workers.

It is worth to be stated that by the construction of the mentioned Canal, 150 hectares of agricultural lands have been irrigated and more than 112 families have been benefited.
