Handing over of eight water supply projects worth of 22.8 million AFNs in Jawizjan province

With total costs of AFNs 22,8 million the construction work of eight water supply projects completed and handed over through the National Water Supply , Sanitation and Irrigation Program of (Ru-WatSIP) Rural Rehabilitation and Development Ministry (MRRD) and with 1,4 million AFNs financial support of UNICEF in Hasan tabeen , Charpeakal , Pampkhana, Yaka chinar and Jaghsai villages of  shubirghan city , Qurbaqa Areeqh and Manjak villages of Khuwaja du kuh and Shirak shurmaidan and Khanqa e ghariba villages of Aqcha district.

These projects included the construction of six indoor water reservoirs equipped with hand pump with capacity of 300 cubic meters.

Digging of three deep and two semi deep wells equipped with solar pumps and 2000 liters capacity reservoir and extension of 3.5 km of water supply system from house to house.
It is worth to be stated that by the implementation of the mentioned projects more than four thousand families and 860 students have gotten access to clean drinking water.
