Establishment of savings groups, village lending and savings unions in three provinces of the country

The Women Economic Empowerment Rural Development Program (WEE-RDP) of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development has recently established four village lending and savings unions from a total of 52 savings groups in Jawzjan province and two other unions out of 27 savings groups in Trinkot district the provincial center of Uruzgan province.

As a mobilization result of 65 development councils in Aibak city of Samangan province, 106 savings groups have been created within the framework of this program.
