Construction of 18 school buildings completed in Paktika, Maidan Wardak, Herat, Balkh and Kandahar provinces

18 school construction projects have been completed by the Education Quality Reform in Afghanistan (EQRA) Project under the Citizens’ Charter National Priority Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD/CCNPP) in Yusuf Khel, Yahya Khel, Argon, Sarobi, Ziruk, Sarroza, Meta Khan and Zarghun districts of Paktika province, Kashk-e-Robat Sangi district of Herat province, Arghistan district of Kandahar province, Nahrshahi district of Balkh province and Nirkh district of Maidan wardak province.

These are consisted of 10, 6 or 4 classrooms,toilets and deep water wells. The successful completion of these school projects has promoted the access of some 4340 local boys and girls to an appropriate learning environment within the community.

Furthermore, a total of 36.000 labor days have been created for both skilled and unskilled laborers during the execution of the mentioned projects.
