Construction of a 160-meter protective wall worth 2 million Afghanis in Takhar

A 160-meter-long protective wall costing more than 2 million Afghanis is under construction by the Regional Program Coordination Office of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development in the Jangal gazai village located in Farkhar district of Takhar province.
During the implementation of this project, 748 working days have been created and after its completion, 1422 locals will be benefited from it.
It is worth mentioning that with the construction of the mentioned wall, hundreds hectares of the agricultural land, sidewalks and residential houses will be protected from the effects of the floods.
