Construction of 15 schools completed within two weeks in 9 provinces of the country

Construction of 15 school buildings well-financed by the Education Quality Reform in Afghanistan (EQRA) Project under the Citizens’ Charter National Priority Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD/CCNPP) has recently been completed and handed over in nine provinces of the country.

These schools are located in Mohmand Darahi district of Nangarhar province, Baraki Barak and Mohammad Aghahi districts of Logar province, Spin Boldak district of Kandahar province, Karkh district of Herat province, Chahar Bolak and Dawlatabad districts of Balkh province, Imam Sahib district of Kot province Faryab province, Shahjui district of Zabul province and the first district of Behsud in Maidan Wardak province. And around 500 students (boys and girls) have been provided with an opportunity to gain access to an appropriate learning environment upon successful completion of the mentioned school building construction projects inside the community.

It is worth mentioning that the mentioned schools have 12, 8, 6 or 4 classrooms, toilets and drinking water wells which created some 44909 labor days for both local skilled and unskilled laborers during their implementation.
