During a monitoring process The Women Economic Empowerment Rural Development Program (WEE-RDP) of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development evaluated the process of bookkeeping and savings in saving groups located in Mehtarlam district of Laghman province.

It is worth mentioning that 856 women's and men's savings groups have been established in 96 development councils located in the province so far, and the majority of these groups have met the conditions for promotion to lending and savings unions. And very soon from all these groups, 58 unions will be formed.
