The Acting Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development has launched the construction of a 12.3-kilometer road in Badghis province
The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development has initiated the construction of a 12.3-kilometer road in the Qadis Khordak area of Qadis district in Badghis province, with an expenditure of over 48 million Afghanis, during a ceremony led by the Acting Minister of the Ministry, Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Younus Akhundzada.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Acting Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Younus Akhundzada, his accompanying delegation, the Governor of Badghis province Mullah Abdul Samad Javed, the head of the Rural Rehabilitation and Development department in Badghis, several other officials, and local residents.
The road is being constructed from the budget of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, and will also include a 455-meter long protective wall, 28 bridge, and a wash project.
During the construction of this road, job opportunities will be created for dozens of workers, and upon completion, it will resolve the transportation issues of hundreds of residents in the area. It is noteworthy that the Acting Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Younus Akhundzada, monitored the progress of the Qadis Reservoir dam and instructed the relevant officials to complete the construction of the dam in a timely and proper manner.
