Three school construction projects completed in Kabul, Herat and Noristan provinces

construction of three schools has been recently completed by the Education Quality Reform in Afghanistan (EQRA) Project under the Citizens’ Charter National Priority Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD/CCNPP) in Baladah Petigil village in Kamdish district of Noristan province and Khaja Sabzposh village of Kashk Robat Sangi district of Herat province and two more schools will be handed over soon in Taran village located in Kuzkenar district and Hashem Khel village in Chaparhar district of Nangarhar province.

These school buildings have of 10, 8, or 4 classrooms, toilets and drinking water wells and the successful completion of the school project has promoted the access of some 890 local boys and girls to an appropriate learning environment within the community and more than 14 thousand students will be benefited from the other ongoing school construction project.

Furthermore, a total of 14,000 labor days have been created for both skilled and unskilled laborers during the execution of the mentioned projects.
