Clean drinking water provided for around 90 families in Zabul province

With the total cost of 1, 8 million AFN funded through the State budget of Afghanistan, a solar-powered water supply network construction project has been recently completed and handed over by The Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Program (Ru-WatSP) of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) in Dagbarwi village, the provincial capital of Zabul province.
With the completion of this project, around 90 families gained access to clean drinking water. The project included the digging of one deep well, installation of an almost 900-meter long pipes network, construction of a water reservoir and a protection wall for the solar panels, setting up of 10 solar panels, taps, and other essential parts. The construction affairs of this project also created around 120 working days for the local workers.
