Clean drinking water provided for Shaheed General Abdul Raziq Academy in Kandahar
with the total cost of 1,976,000 AFN funded through the State budget, a solar _powered water supply network has been recently completed and handed over by the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) in Shaheed General Abdul Raziq Academy located in Daman district of Kandahar province.
the project included the digging of one well, construction of an elevated water reservoir ane installation of 20 solar panels, which has provided clean drinking water for around 1200 villagers living in the mentioned area.
it's worth to be stated that, during the implementation of the mentioned project 500 working days were also created.
