The activities progress of the National Rural Economic Development Program in Laghman province

The Rural Economic Development Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) has established 1,564 savings groups with 22,678 rural members in the Mehtarlam and Qarghahi districts of Laghman province since its inception.

By holding weekly meetings, these groups have been able to save 969,605 Afghanis and start small and medium enterprises in their villages by taking 300 loans from their savings groups.
