Signing the contract worth of 2 miliard and 600 million AFN for implementation of some development projects in  21 provinces of the country

H.E Mujib Rahman Karimi the Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development(MRRD) ,signed on Tuesday the contract of some development projects with the social development councils and  private companies.

The projects  include : the construction of rural roads and car way bridges ,which will be implemented through the Rural Access Program of MRRD.

At the conference which was held on this occasion, H.E Mr. Karimi said that the projects will be implemented in 21 provinces of the country including Ghor, Banyan, Badakhshan,Balghllan , Balkh, Parwan, Panjshear, Pakitia, Takhar, Jawzjan, Khost, Faryab Ghazni,Kabul, Kapisa, Kunduz ,Kandahar,Laghman,Nangarhar ,Maidan wardak and Herat provinces.during the implementation of the mentioned projects ,4 million and 235 thousand and 622 working days will be created.

According to Minister of MRRD ,one the contracted projects is the construction of 48 Km road in Pamir area of Afghanistan. Fortunately Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development has implemented a _60 kilometers road construction project in Pamir from Brogheel to Buz hai ganbad areas, and now based upon the newly contracted projects ,48 kilometers road will be constructed in Buz hai ganbad to China's border.by the construction of the mentioned road , a large part of the residents' problems will be solved and many facilities will be also created.

It's worth to be stated that currently 7310 kilometres road and 282 bridges with the total length of  9015 metres have been constructed in 34 provinces of the country by the Rural Access programme of MRRD that by the implementation of the mentioned project,around 12,7 million working days have been created and 9,9 million villagers have benefited.
