The construction of a 17-kilometer road has begun in the Maiwand district of Kandahar province

The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development has launched the construction of a 17-kilometer road in Maiwand district, Kandahar province, at a cost of 30 million Afghanis during a special ceremony.
The event was attended by the Acting Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Yunus Akhundzada, along with his delegation, the head of the Kandahar Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department, officials from Maiwand district, local scholars, elders, and youth.
During the ceremony, Acting Minister Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Yunus Akhundzada delivered a speech, emphasizing that the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development prioritizes connecting rural areas and providing services to residents. He assured that more projects would be implemented to address the needs of the people.
The implementation of these projects will provide employment opportunities for hundreds of workers, and upon completion, they will help resolve the challenges faced by the local communities.
