Handing over of a water supply network construction project in Ghor province

With the total cost of 1.8 million AFN funded by the National Water Supply and Sanitation Program of Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) a water supply network construction project has been recently completed and handed over in Now abad village located in Dawlatyar district of Ghor province.

This project included the construction of the structure of the spring, one water reservoir and retaining wall, extension of a 1,169-meter long pipes network and installation of solar panels, taps and other essential tools.

By the construction of the mentioned project, 90 families have gotten access to safe drinking water. It is worth to be stated that by mentioned project 1400 working days were also created.
