Various development projects have been put into use in Kabul province

Under the coordination and supervision of the Department of Rural Reconstruction and Development, with the financial support of  (UNOPS) the projects of Afghanistan Livelihood and Social Support Program in paghman, Khakjabar, and Sarobi districts of Kabul province have been completed.

 

During a meeting, the projects were delivered and put into use today,by the Alhaj Maulvi Abdul Rahman Halim, the financial and administrative deputy of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development.

 

These projects included the construction and cleaning of canals with a length of 796,409 meters, the construction of a gabion wall spanning 416 meters, the cleaning of canals with a length of 10,571 meters, and the construction of sidewalks with a length of 2,410 meters, construction of rural roads with a length of 46.2 km, construction of retaining wall with a length of 259 meters, construction of drainage canals with a length of 6,790 meters and construction of 11 clean drinking water networks.

 

During the implementation of these projects, hundreds of workers were employed, and upon completion, the problems of the residents of the said districts were solved.

 

The meeting was attended by Haji Khalil Head of the Office of the Governor of Kabul Province, Mawlavi Muhammad Yunus Hanafi Head of Rural Rehabilitation and Development of this Province, district governors of these three districts,scholars and youths.
