Construction of 12 Water Supply Networks Begins in Bamyan Province
The construction of 12 water supply networks, worth approximately 37 million Afghanis, has officially begun in the center and Yakawlang district of Bamyan Province. The project was inaugurated during a ceremony by Haj Mullah Mohammad Younus Akhundzada, Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, along with his accompanying delegation.
The ceremony was attended by Haj Mawlawi Abdullah Sarhadi, Governor of Bamyan; Mawlawi Waheedullah Rashid, Head of Rural Rehabilitation and Development for Bamyan Province; as well as several other officials, scholars, elders, and youth.
During the construction phase of these networks, employment opportunities will be provided for hundreds of workers, and upon completion, 5,118 residents of the area will gain access to clean drinking water.
