Meeting on coordination and implementation assessment of the infrastructure projects in Paktika province based on special order of the H.E president

Meeting on coordination and assessment of the implemented and ongoing projects in Paktika province was held on Tuesday in the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development in presence of Ministers of Public work and Higher Education, deputy ministers of the Agriculture, Energy and water ministries and also some respensentatives of the country’s cricket board. In the beginning of this meeting which was hosted by the Minister of MRRD, the reports of ongoing projects, priorities, activities and Mr. president’s order were shared with the representative of the relevant departments by MRRD‘s Minister .
Subsequently, ministers of Higher education and public affairs, and deputy ministers of agriculture, energy and water reported their activities. A the end of the meeting it was decided that the coordination and evaluation report the implementation and development projects in Paktika province should be prepared by the end of this week and the initial needs of the mentioned province will be integrated in the future development plans of the relevant ministries . It is worth to be mentioned that 217 development projects of the Citizen’s Charter Program of MRRD are going to be implemented in Paktika of which 184 projects are ongoing. In addition , the reconstruction work of the Two Careaz projects worth of AFNs 7 million is ongoing in Zerak and Argoon districts of Paktika province and at cost of more than AFNs 134 million the construction work of two roads have been started in Cheni and Argoon districts too. And in order to improve the households’ economy, the Women Economic Empowerment Rural Program of MRRD will continue its activities in 57 villages of Paktika province. And in this way for 4560 villagers jobs will be created within their homes, which will have and an effective impact in improving their economic situation.
