Clean drinking water provided for 280 families in Ghor province
With the total cost of 3,655,000 AFN, which was funded through the State Budget of Afghanistan. The Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Program (Ru-WatSP) of Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) constructed and handed over a gravity-fed water supply network in “Tala” village in Firuzkuh district of Ghor province. With the completion of this project, over 280 families got access to clean drinking water. As the result of this water supply project, an over 8,000-meter long gravity-fed water supply network was constructed, whose construction affairs created around 5,000 working days. The project was executed by “Tala” Community Development Council (CDC).
