Approximately 2391 development projects have been implemented within current fiscal year across the country

H.E Associate Professor Mujib Rahman Karimi The Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, presented an accountability Report regarding the past year activities and the future plans of MRRD to the nation during a press conference which was held on Saturday (23 January) at the Government Media and Information Center .

Mr. Karimi said in the mentioned conference that during current year the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development has implemented about 2391 development projects in 34 provinces of the country, during which 3.4 million working days have been created and 3.5 million of our compatriots have benefited from these projects

The Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development added that implementation of another 8105 development projects which will create 11 million working days and provide basic living facilities for 10.3 million people, is currently under way in different province .

Associate Professor Mujib rahman Karimi also said that despite the problems caused by the coronavirus epidemic and other obstacles, the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development managed to spend the entire annual budget of 1399, which reached 25 billion Afghanis, in a transparent and balanced manner. And then could spend nearly 2 billion Afghanis of the extra 5 billion Afghanis it received in the middle of the year
