Work progress of a 571 –meter protective wall construction project in Paktiya province
Construction of a 571- meter protective wall has been 33 % completed through the Regional Programs Coordination Office of Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) in Shuwat Satry Toghi village located in Ahmad kheal district of Paktiya province.
During the implementation of the mentioned project 7009 working days have been created and after accomplishment 5880 villagers will be benefited.
It is worth mentioning that the mentioned wall will protect hundreds of acres of the agricultural land and a large part of the residential houses of local people from the threat of floods.
