Work progress of a -1060 meters protective wall construction project in Nangarhar province

With the total cost of 34 million AFN, the construction work of 1060 meters protective wall has been 70% completed through the Regional Programs Coordination Office of Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) in Gani village of Haska mina district of Nangarhar province.

During the implementation of the mentioned project, 7000 working days have been created and after its accomplishment 4thousand villagers will be benefited. It’s worth to be stated that by the construction of the mentioned protective wall, 100 hectares of agricultural will be protected from the flood risks.
