Work progress of a water supply network construction project worth 1,2 million AFN in Sar e pul province

Construction of a water supply network project worth 1, 2 million AFN has been 90 % completed by The Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Program (Ru-WatSP) of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) and with financial supply of UNICEF in the provincial center of Sar e pul province. This network has a well with a depth of 100 meters, an iron concreted reservoir with a capacity of 10 cubic meters of water, 8 energy solar panels, a 1.4 kW water pump and 9 water taps. With its completion, 1,500 female high school students in Jawzjan will have access to safe drinking water.
