A solar-powered water supply network handed over in Mirzaka district

With the total cost of 17 million AFNs funded by UNICEF, The construction work of a solar- powered water supply network completed and handed over through the rural water supply and sanitation program (Ru-WatSP) of the Rural Rehabilitation and Development Ministry (MRRD) in Andiwal village of Mirzaka e district of Paktiya province.
This project included digging of one deep well, setting up of 3.000- meter long network , construction of one water reservoir  and installation of 29 solar panels, a pump and taps. The mentioned project was completed in five months and by its accomplishment 200 families got access to clean drinking water.
