About Ru-WatSIP/MRRD:

Rural Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene Promotion Department Ru-WatSIP is working in the structure of Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development MRRD. The main responsibility of this department is provision of safe potable water and sanitation facilities as a basic need for allover rural inhabitants in the country.

In this programme many donors such as UNICEF, MoF are providing financial assistance to MRRD for capacity building and implementation of water supply projects.

Among the others UNICEF and MoF, are the main donors for MRRD provided support for implementation of Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation (WES) projects in schools and Health Care Facilities (HCF) alongside with assistance in capacity building within MRRD and for the sector.

For ensuring the objectives set in the project document are being achieved through the planned activities in provinces, there is need for hiring MIS associate.


Job Description:

Duties & Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities of MIS associate are included but not limited to:

The MIS associate will be mainly responsible for data collection, processing, verification, quality control, coordination and maintenance of MIS systems. Below are the core responsibilities of MIS associate:

Manage the data collection process from WASH partners and ensure quality entry into information systems;
Review data and ensure for accuracy, consistency and integrity; 
Apply data validation, verification and ensure quality data are within the systems;
Apply regular updates and cooperate in synchronization process with central systems;
Document relevant guidelines, manuals and procedures;
Creating GIS maps per organization Requirement;

Perform other relevant tasks assigned by MIS Manager.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications/ Experience, Skills & Abilities Required:

Bachelor degree with 2 years relevant experience or baccalaureate degree with 4 years relevant experience in Computer Science or Software Engineering is required;


Reporting to:     

The MIS associate report to MIS Manager.
