The Minister of MRRD signed contract for three development projects with ambassador of India

Associate Professor Mujib Rahman Karimi, Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD), signed a contract for three development projects   with Vinay Kumar the ambassador of India in presence of H.E Dr Abdullah Abdullah the country’s executive director.

MRRD‘s Minister said that, one of these three projects  is construction of a 2439 meters water supply canal in Badghiz province which  will irrigate 1351 acres of agricultural land . The second one is the construction of a 278 M protective wall in Muqir district of Badghiz province that will protect 58 acres of irrigation land from flood risks. And the third project it the construction of 2710 road in Pul –e Charkhi of Kabul.

The total cost of these projects is $ 1.5 million, which will be funded by the government of India.
